Here's What Our Crew Handles

Some neighbors want the whole house switched. Some just want the chilly back bedroom sorted, or that oil tank finally gone. Have a look and see which one sounds like you.

Four Easy Steps

  1. A friendly phone chat

Tell us about the place, the fuel in the tank or the gas line, and which company bills you. We say which rebates and financing look likely, and whether an energy assessment should happen first.

  2. We stop by and measure

Each room, the windows, the attic, the basement gear. That visit turns into a design based on real heat loss, not a hunch.

  3. One clear page of numbers

Units, placement, cost, rebate estimate and any 0% loan figure, all spelled out. Going with the loan? We prep the contractor side of it for the lender.

  4. Install day, then the tour

Units hung, lines tucked into covers, old heat dealt with, everything tested. Then we walk the house with you and wrap up the rebate and loan forms.

Neighbors Let Us In for Good Reasons

Changing how a house stays warm is personal. You deserve care, honest figures and people who will explain something twice without a sigh.

  • Licensed in Massachusetts

Your job is handled by a licensed Massachusetts contractor who pulls the permits it calls for. Done by the book.

  • Money talk comes first

Rebate estimate, loan amount and your own share, written out before we start. You choose with nothing hidden.

  • Made for real January nights

We install units rated to keep putting out heat when the thermometer bottoms out. No summer-only equipment dressed up for winter.

  • Neat from start to finish

Covered floors, line sets hidden in tidy covers along the siding, scraps hauled away. Then the full walkthrough.

  • Your old boiler, handled properly

Pulled out, shut off for good, or kept on integrated controls that only wake it in deep cold, matching what the program wants.

Saugus and the Towns Around It

Saugus is full of capes, colonials and two-families, and plenty of them still have an oil burner rumbling downstairs. Route 1 cuts right through town, the Saugus River snakes down to the marsh, and Lynn Woods borders the east side. We cover all of it, Cliftondale included, and keep going into Lynn, Revere, Melrose, Malden and the other towns nearby.

Older homes are our normal

Plaster walls, cramped closets and zero ductwork are everyday stuff here. Ductless heads and thoughtful line routing take care of them.

Light plant towns are different

Peabody, Lynnfield and Wakefield get electricity from municipal light plants with rebates of their own. We figure out which program you fall under before you count on any figure.

Saugus Homeowners Often Wonder

Straight answers to the things nearly everyone brings up.

Does it cool the house in summer as well?

Yes. In July the heat pump simply runs the other way, pulling heat out of your rooms. Lots of folks retire their window units after one season.

What kind of equipment earns the Mass Save incentives?

It has to be a qualifying cold-climate model from the program's product list. We choose units that meet that rule, so your rebate never hinges on the wrong box.

Are triple-deckers and two-families good candidates?

Very good ones. Every apartment gets its own plan, usually ductless heads plus its own outdoor unit and controls. We review each unit's utility account and heating zone on its own.

Will my house qualify for the whole-home rebate?

That comes down to a handful of rules. The heat pumps must heat the entire home, the weatherization from your energy assessment has to be done, the equipment must qualify and someone has to live there full-time all winter. We go through each with you by phone.

How is the right size picked for an old house?

By working out the heat loss of each room. Insulation, windows, ceiling height and drafts all count, while the rating on the old boiler does not. Get that right and rooms stay even and the system runs smoothly.

Is a Home Energy Assessment needed before I start?

For the whole-home rebate, yes, since the program wants the recommended weatherization finished. The assessment is free for you, and its insulation and air sealing suggestions come with big incentives too.

What looking-after does the system want?

Very little. Rinse the indoor filters every so often, brush snow and leaves off the outdoor unit, and have a tech clean the coils and drain lines from time to time. We demonstrate all of it on install day.

Whole-home or partial-home: which is which?

Whole-home means heat pumps do all the heating, and that route pays up to $8,500 for 2026, per ton, if you meet eligibility. Partial-home covers some of the house and pays less. On a partial job, the old heat for that zone gets removed, disconnected or put on integrated controls.
